I chose to do A Level law due to my interests in true crime and solving cases. The course has been fascinating and has allowed me to develop my problem-solving skills in deducing liability in pretend scenarios. While I was initially excited by the criminal side of law, contract law was unexpectedly just as engaging. Being able to apply the law to situations which I relate to is useful as now I understand my rights as a consumer in the real world. The teachers go above and beyond to make learning the law fun, and they put in a lot of time into creating resources which have been very useful in my revision.
The college as a whole is very supportive, they make it very clear where you can go for help and that it is always available. I love the campus and its location, with the town only being a walk away.
For my +Explore course in first year I chose to do podcasting. Having a private recording room where with friends we could create our own podcast episodes was great and I didn’t expect something like this to be offered. I listen to podcasts regularly, so it was a unique opportunity which let me go behind the scenes in creating my own.
